PCI Compliance

The Paper Package uses a PCI compliant third party gateway, DPS, to process credit cards online. PCI compliance is the bank standard for how businesses should securely process credit cards. Using a PCI compliant gateway means that DPS will process any credit card transactions from this website - and notify us to either confirm or deny the success of the transaction.

This means that at The Paper Package we do not, and cannot, access credit card data ourselves and we never need to store or process customer's credit card transactions.  All transactions are processed online by DPS in realtime and protected by the industry standard security standard SSL.

The SSL protocol is a method of ensuring information submitted through websites is secure and cannot be accessed by unauthorised users. When you purchase products through our website a secure server is used, and transmission of personal information, including credit card details, is encrypted.

You can check that this security is active by looking for the padlock symbol on your browser. SSL encryption provides greater customer protection than many forms of offline credit card payments.
