1. Free Delivery
The Paper Package offers free New Zealand-wide delivery on all products sold.
2. Dispatch Times
Unless otherwise advised, you can expect your product/gifts to ship within 1 working day of order, and usually on the same day if ordered prior to 2pm. Please feel free to contact us if you have an enquiry about the urgent dispatch of an item.
3. Delivery Target Times
All our products are sent via the CourierPost service, which has the following delivery target times:
|
DELIVERY ADDRESS |
DELIVERY TARGET TIMES |
|
Business addresses (within CBD or suburban retail/business area) |
By 9am the next morning |
|
Residential addresses |
The next working day |
|
Rural delivery addresses |
2-3 working days |
|
Saturday delivery |
By 12 noon |
Please note that these are target delivery times only, and the courier company does not guarantee delivery within these timeframes. Although they are usually very reliable, delays and errors in delivery do sometimes occur, and it is generally better for someone to receive their gift a little earlier than run the risk of disappointment (especially for busy times such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Easter).
4. Saturday Delivery Option
Purchasers have the option of Saturday delivery for non-rural areas. This service is an additional $6.00 and can be chosen from the drop-down shipping menu during the checkout process.
5. Non-Signature Required
Please note that all our couriered packages are sent
non-signature required as a matter of convenience to our customers. If you would prefer a
signature-required option, please email us to let us know (may incur additional cost).
6. Delivery Instructions
Please ensure that delivery addresses are accurate when filling in your details at checkout. We are not able to assume responsibility for delays or misdirected deliveries if delivery details are incorrect or incomplete.
We are happy to add further delivery instructions to packages (eg. leave package beside back door) but please be aware that couriers will decide to leave parcels at their own discretion, and may prefer to leave the package elsewhere or leave a card to call.
7. Specific Date Delivery Requests
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery of a gift or care package on a specific day. This is because the courier companies cannot guarantee specific delivery dates/times to us.
The target delivery times provided above are generally met, however we are unable to take responsibility for delays in delivery once items have left our premises.
As noted above delivery delays are more likely during busy celebration periods, so please consider ordering and sending your gift earlier rather than later.
8. Following-Up Delivery Problems
Every item that leaves our premises is able to be tracked by telephone or over the internet and tracking numbers and details will be emailed to you as soon as the order ships.
We are very happy to follow-up on any delivery problems or delays with the courier company. Please
contact us as soon as you are aware of any delays and we will do our very best to get problems sorted out quickly.
If a delayed delivery by the courier means that your gift or care package is no longer wanted or needed - please return the item to us and we will process an immediate full refund.
9. Lost Items
In the unlikely event that one of our gift or care packages is lost in transit or unacceptably delayed, please
contact us immediately.
Our policy is to offer and send a replacement item immediately or process a full refund for the item.
We would generally regard an item as "unacceptably delayed" if the courier is unable to locate and deliver the package within 48 hours of the target delivery times indicated above.
10. Hospital Deliveries
We apologise, but it is our policy
not to send gifts or care packages directly to hospital in-patients, but rather to send them directly to the patient's or their family members' home address. The only exception to this would be if the purchaser assumed the risk of the gift or care package going missing, being delayed or being delivered after the patient has left hospital.
